Welcome to the website
of Great Binfields Primary school. Our over-riding priority at Great
Binfields is to foster a desire to learn in every boy and girl in the
school. We want children to be involved in their education. Children
learn best if they themselves feel valued. We strive to give them the
opportunity to express themselves physically, practically and
emotionally. This is done in a well-managed, secure and happy
environment. Please look at our school prospectus, which explains the
school’s ethos more fully. This website will give you some idea of what Great Binfields is like, but in order to experience the energy and enthusiasm of the school, we invite you to visit us and see us in action. Mission statement: our purpose is to create a happy, caring school, where the well-being of every child is of primary concern. We strive to develop effective learning in a stimulating and challenging environment where the needs of each individual are met. Our aim is to enable children to develop skills and attitudes so that they become useful and sensitive members of society, whilst fostering values such as responsibility, honesty and helpfulness. We expect high standards and good behaviour from all children.
